I just went to Pam's house last Sat 29th. It was fantastic. It was my first and I'm pleased I did :D It was great experienced, music was great, DJ, dancers, entertainment were great too. People were so friendly which is nice :)
My mates came with me and I think they had great night as well. I wouldn't mind going again :D

Some of you might know I went to job interview yesterday and today, they emailed me saying that I got the job!! :D
The proper title for the job is Sessional Lecturer in British Sign Language in case some of you don't know :)
Oh btw, I just saw how old and outdated my LJ was!

Hi everyone
As some of you know that I'm a student at Norwich School of Art & Design. I'm on my final year and nearly finish my course. At the end of my course I will have a degree show which is when we all student show their art work for viewing.
Setting up the show cost a lot of money, so the student in my course have come up with the idea to raise money. The idea is that we have asked famous people to draw a bunny so we can sell it to public for Easter Auction so people like you can bid for a signed picture!
Artist and student in my course (including me) have also draw bunny for auction too.
Famous people like Delia Smith, Norwich Football players, Rolf Harris and more!
You can bid the signed drawings if you want to buy them on Friday.
There will be a three day preview of bunnies from Wednesday so you can have a look what famous people have drawn before you can bid at a live auction on the Friday night at the Forum.
Entry is free of charge, although donations are welcomed.
10% of all profit will be given to the local Macmillan Cancer Relief charity.
This event will have BSL interpreter for Deaf people.
Location - Norwich Forum.
Preview- Wednesday 31st March to Thursday 1st April 10am to 8pm, Friday 2nd April - 10am-6pm.
Live auction with BSL interpreter - Friday from 7pm.

I know I haven't made any post for ages!
Got few news. I'm now back at the Art School to finish my final 3rd year on Visual Studies course.
So far, it is not too bad, but I'm worried about my Dissertation! Don't feel there is enough time to do my written work and my Studio work. So far I have got a subject to write about, which is Cochlear Implant. Got some research as well, but haven't really start writing it yet. I do have rough plan anyway. Just need to start writing and hopefully that will get the ball rolling!
So far, I'm also doing evening course on Wednesday, every fortnightly, "Working with Young People" Went for 1st time last week, wasn't what I expected, the class don't seems to be that oraganised! I'm willing to give it another chance next week to see if it is any good to carry on.
It is only 7 session anyway, but I have to write an assignment as well. I should be fine if I do carry on with this course as well as my main course, but I did worry if I can do them both.
I'll see how I get on.
Oh, Last week, I went to see Kosheen in UEA with Greg, it was good, I did have fun, but it wasn't as good as last year. Their music is a little different, but overall it was good night.
er.. I can't remember what else I have been doing apart from normal things like seeing my mates etc.
This Friday, I'm going to Fancy Dress Party! It's Greg's Sis' mate's birthday and she wanted it to be fancy dress party, but only as Fairy or Pirate!
At first, I decided to be a fairy, then I changed my mind and now going to be a female Pirate! Easier to make costume and I've got some clothes I could use.
I'm really looking forward to it as I don't think I have been to fancy dress birthday party! I have only for Halloween few times but didn't properly dress up for it.
Hopefully it would be fun, there also will be small bonfire and fireworks too!
I'll post pics somewhere on the net later so you can have a lookie if you want to :)
Right, I'm off to bed now so, hopefully I'll post some more post in the future!

Hello,
I'm wondering if you could help me and remember what you saw on adverts, films, etc with using lips in them. For example in the film, Rocky Horror Picture Show had those bright red lips talking and singing against the black background. Also the Nissan Mirca car advert. They had those bright blue lips talking with the car driving about saying "Can You Speak Mirca?" etc.
Also I have found a simple advert for Make Trade Fair website with the lips.
I was wondering if you could know or think of some more.
Why I need to find some more is because I need some research for my art degree project which is based on Lip-reading.

'Lawmakers struck a lunchtime blow against the French for their opposition on plans for war with Iraq. Foods that begin with "French" such as "French fries" will now be "freedom fries" on a menu. And for breakfast they'll now have "freedom toast."
